14 WEEKS day - 27 ½ WEEKS evening
Objective: Heavy emphasis in electricarc welding in all positions. Code Certification ASME Section IX on pipe. Students will participate in various positions of certification with a reasonable chance to pass the code test. Students will be prepared for both entry level and mid level jobs (if certified successfully). Career Opportunities: Graduates have secured employment as heavy construction welders, ironworkers and pipe fitters. Program Outline:
SM401 SMAW (Electric-arc) welding with an emphasis on Code Certification
equal to AWS D.1 and ASME Section IX.
300 TOTAL HOURS
12 WEEKS FULLTIME 25 WEEKS HALFTIME
Objective: This program offers a combination on SMAW and TIG for code certification in both.
Career Opportunities: Certifies welder in both SMAW on plate and TIG on pipe. Two certifications are offered (AWS D1.1 on plate and GTAW ASME Section IX on pipe).
120 hours
5 WEEKS FULL-TIME - 10 WEEKS HALFTIME
Objective: TIG welding to certify on pipe as per ASME Section IX.
Career Opportunities: Welding positions that require code certification on pipe as per ASME Section IX GTAW.
Objective: Basic welding in electric-arc with no code certification. Career Opportunities:
For basic welding positions that do not require code certification.

Objective:
Welding skills in the major phases of welding (SMAW code certification on plate). Students will be prepared for both entry level and mid level jobs (if certified successfully). Career Opportunities:
Employment as a combination welder with code certification SMAW as per AWS D1.1 on plate. Program Outline:

Objective:
This program provides an individual with intense training in SMAW on pipe to the 6G position. Code certification ASME Section IX on pipe in SMAW along with TIG welding, oxy-acetylene and blueprint reading. Career Opportunities:
Graduates of this program have become ironworkers, construction welders, pipe and pipeline welders. Also, the opportunity to become a pipe fitter with additional training.
